School is out for the summer!!!!

School is out and I am excited to explore all of my options for using technology to improve my teaching. I know that it will benefit my students when I become more proficient with the tools that I am asking them to use. Onward and upward my friends. :-)

Where is the time going?

I continue to be very excited learning all of this new technology and how to integrate it into my classes. I don't feel I have enough time to do all that I want to do. I will continue to give it "my best shot". Stay tuned for more detail.

Another New Technology Tool

Tonight I learned about some of the things that you can do on glogster. I am thinking that I can use this instead of making posters in the future. Stay tuned.

Time to start figuring this out

Now that vacation is here I am really going to make a concerted effort to figure out how to make this work. I'm both scared and excited about the prospect. We'll see how it goes.

Trying to Blog....everyday

I am still very confused with all of this blogging. I will continue to try. Now I need a web page.

Today I decided to show a few students my blog to get their feedback. Oh- can't get to it on the school's network because it is a blog and that's not acceptable. Kids know how to get around proxy servers- teachers don't. Go figure!

Another Day.... another blog

I am really trying to embrace this technology and figure out a way to incorporate all of this in my everyday teaching. If I can get excited about and understand it- it will help me become a better facilitator. I'm trying.....:-)
